Nebraskans spoke on the Minimum Wage - with nearly 60% voting to support working families.

In 2026, the Legislature passed LB258, which significantly weakened the minimum wage guidelines Nebraska voters approved in 2022. This legislation limited the promised cost of living increases to a fixed percentage and established a subminimum wage for workers under the age of 20. At a time when hardworking families are struggling to make ends meet, Nebraskans of all ages deserve fair wages that keep pace with the true cost of living.
